    The API:

    • Develops practice standards and guidance notes you can use in your profession.
    • Provides a voice and input for you on property matters to Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments.
    • Represents Australia on the International Valuations Standards Committee.
    • Actively seeks members' opinions (your opinion) on matters affecting the property industry.

    • Networking activities include meetings and social events at API Study Groups, Conferences and Seminars.
    • You are encouraged to join committees and boards, which set the standards and guide the future of your own business.

  5. Libraries - keep informed of what's happening.

    • Each Divisional Office and National Office holds an extensive library with a wide range of reference books, property periodicals academic publications and videos/DVDs.

    • Share in the API's reciprocity agreements which facilitate practice on an international basis:
